Mark Rowe

Mark has lead the company since inception in 1990.

Mark grew up in Indianapolis and originally attended college to consider being an architect. After a few years of college Mark worked for two separate firms designing homes, apartments and commercial buildings. From 1975 to 1980 he opened his own company designing homes for custom builders and designing commercial buildings for developers.

Mark received a BS degree from Purdue University in 1980 and accepted a position with a large Construction Manager, Gilbane Building Company working in their Cleveland Regional office. Mark was accepted into Gilbane's two-year management program. After completing this two year program he was promoted to Project Engineer and worked on several hospital projects.They include Timken Mercy Hospital and several projects at the Cleveland Clinic. Prior to Mark leaving Gilbane he was a Project Manager for a Gymnasium and Swimming Pool Facility for the College of Notre Dame in East Euclid, OH.

During his seven years in Ohio, Mark completed course work on a MBA with a concentration in Finance from Kent State University. In 1987 Mark and his family moved back to Indianapolis in anticipation of starting his own firm. For the next three years he worked as a Project Manager for a local general contractor handling a multitude of projects of various types that included new office buildings, strip centers, grocery stores, an industrial incinerator facility and a half million square foot manufacturing facility.

In 1990 Mark launched MD Rowe Construction.
